Michael Coffman
Senior Pastor
Michael Coffman was married on December 3, 2004 to a lovely young lady named Lisa Jolean Holton, with whom they now have 5 kids: Alison, Matthew, Gabriel, Ethan, and Colton. He was saved that same year on June 15th at Silver State Baptist Youth Camp after spending several years trying to convince himself he was already saved. Two years later, on June 16th, also at Silver State, he answered the call to surrender his life for full-time ministry. Then just six months later he and his wife moved to Oklahoma City to attend Heartland Baptist Bible College where he graduated in May of 2010.
Since graduating Bible College, he’s had the privilege of serving God as youth pastor at Bethany Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas from May 2010—June 2013. He then answered the call to plant a church and began serving as a church planting intern at Faith Baptist Church in Wesley Chapel, Florida from June 2013—June 2015. He then planted Christway Baptist Church in Zephyrhills, Florida and pastored from June 2015 —March 2018.
Then on October 14, 2020 the Lord called Michael Coffman to Tabernacle Baptist Church where he became the pastor. He considers it an honor and privilege to serve along side such wonderful people for the cause of Christ.
